More than 40 army personnel are stationed at Barpul Para School in
Naniarchar Upazila of Rangamati district, reports say.
According to sources, a team of 30 army personnel led by the
commander of the Bakchari Army Camp arrived and took position at Baropul Para
School this afternoon. Earlier in the day, they had conducted a patrol in
Jadukachara village.
Additionally, another group of 10 to 12 army personnel from the
Naniarchar Zone conducted patrols in Rangipara and Suryamani Mukh market areas.
They later joined the team stationed at Barpul Para School.
Meanwhile, army personnel stationed at Kattali High School in
Longadu Upazila are reportedly still present there.
The presence of army personnel in these locations has caused concern
among local residents.
