Army personnel conducted a search operation at the home of an ordinary villager
in Tagalakchara village, located in the Tripurachara area of Bandukbhanga Union
under Rangamati Sadar Upazila.
According to
reports, early this morning (Saturday, October 25, 2025), a group of army
personnel from the Naniarchar Army Zone arrived in Tripurachhara village in two
engine boats. The soldiers then moved through Joungabachara and Kuramara to
reach Tagalakchara Mouza.
Upon
arrival, they conducted a search at the home of Binoy Jyoti Chakma (43), son of
Ananta Lal Chakma, a resident of Tagalakchhara village.
However,
after an extensive search, the soldiers reportedly found nothing illegal at his
home and later returned to the Naniarchar Zone.
The army’s
search operation has caused resentment among the local residents of the
Tripurachara area.
