Army Searches Two Villagers’ Homes in Panchari

The Bangladesh Army soldiers conducted a search at the
homes of two innocent villagers in Panchari, Khagrachari.

The incident took place this morning (Friday,
September 5, 2025) in Tapita Para of Panchari.

According to sources, around 3:00 AM, a group of 60 to
70 army personnel in 5–6 vehicles from the Panchari sub-zone raided Tapita Para
in Panchari Sadar Union.

The soldiers surrounded the area and around 6:00 AM
conducted searches at the homes of two innocent villagers.

The affected villagers are: Pritimoy Chakma (50), son
of Mereye Chakma, and Bhartyya Chakma (35), son of Kanti Chakma

Failing to find anything illegal during the searches,
the army returned to their camp.

Earlier, at dawn on Thursday (September 4), army
personnel from the Matiranga zone had also searched the home of one Shanti
Bikash Chakma (36), son of Surjoy Chakma, in Bandarshing Para of Taindong
Union, Matiranga.
