According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation resulted in the recovery of a cache of weapons and ammunition, including one submachine gun (SMG) and other firearms.

Then, after conducting a search, an army patrol team recovered one submachine gun (SMG), three locally made guns, one LG, one submachine gun magazine, one pouch, seven rounds of ammunition, 17 empty shells, 25 different lots of empty SMG shells, two cartridges, four walkie-talkies, one Motorola set, four walkie-talkie chargers, two cameras, one spy camera sunglasses, one spy camera device charger, three pen drives, four UPDF organization flags, five UPDF organization arm bands, and 12 different types of books were recovered.

The remote and rugged terrain of the area is known to be a hotspot for separatist activity, and law enforcement agencies have long suspected that armed groups use the region to store weapons and conduct operations.
