Army’s 10 Re Bn provides free medical care, medicines in Kaptai

10 Re Battalion of the Bangladesh Army under Rangamati Region offered free medical services and distributed essential medicines to underprivileged residents at Kaptai upazila og Rangamati district.

The day-long medical camp was held on Sunday at remote village of Kaushallyaghona, under the battalion’s jurisdiction.

The event began at 10 AM and continued until the afternoon.

Dozens of impoverished children, elderly and vulnerable people from nearby and distant areas gathered to receive medical consultations and treatment.

Medical officers from the battalion conducted health check-ups and provided necessary medicines to the patients free of charge.

According to a statement from 10 Re Battalion, the initiative was conducted under the guidance of Chief of Army Staff and supervised by Battalion Commander Lt. Col. ASM Sadik Shahriar, psc.

Grateful beneficiaries expressed their thanks to the Bangladesh Army, saying they received both treatment and medicine at no cost.

Army officials assured that similar support initiatives will continue in the future to serve disadvantaged communities across the region.
