Voluntary blood donation program in Narsingdi on July-August Mass Uprising anniversary

As part of BNP’s central program, on the occasion of the anniversary of mourning and victory of the July-August mass uprising, the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) Narsingdi district branch organized a voluntary blood donation and blood grouping program at Thursday at Rajanigandha Square in Satirpara of the municipal town of Narsingdi BNP Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon was present as the chief guest at the voluntary blood donation and blood grouping event.

Presided over by DAB Narsingdi district branch president Dr. M.S.S Hasan Al Jami, the event had as special guests district BNP General Secretary Monzur Elahi and district BNP Vice President Tofazzal Hossain Master.

Conducted by Health and Family Welfare Affairs Secretary Dr. Nurullah Al Masud, the event was also attended by district BNP Vice President Abu Saleh Chowdhury, Harun-or-Rashid, A.K.M Golam Kabir Kamal (former GS), Faruq Uddin Bhuiyan, Robiul Islam Robi, Khabirul Islam Babul (former VP), Organizational Secretary Aminul Haque Bacchu, Majharul Haque Titu, Office Secretary Monirul Haque Javed, Publicity Secretary Elias Ali Bhuiyan (former VP), Women Affairs Secretary Advocate Umme Salma Maya, Student Affairs Secretary Siddiqur Rahman Nahid (former AGS), Relief and Rehabilitation Affairs Secretary Mahamud Hossain Chowdhury Sumon (former AGS), Cultural Affairs Secretary Mokarram Hossain Bhuiyan, and Mass Education Affairs Secretary Abdur Rauf Fakir Roni, among others.

At this time, the chief guest said, we pay our respects to all the martyrs including Abu Sayeed Tahmid who were martyred in the July-August mass uprising. This victory is not the final victory; through this victory, we have gained a new freedom. The final victory will come only when a national government is formed through a fair election. Without elections, without democracy, final victory is not possible. In the coming days, there will be a fair and neutral election. Only through a fair election will the souls of the martyrs find peace.
